I know I'm not a Hunter, but this might be useful for you guys that didn't manage to get your water strider in time for Legion's Launch:

TL;DR (It's really not that long, dunno why you didn't read it, but oh well.) As BM you can tame Water Striders and they give you (and subsequently your mounts) the ability to walk on water.
